After three years of code development, and protected by eight patents-pending, ODI can now offer the fastest, most accurate, embedded standalone matching module on the market today. ODI's patent-pending OneTouchTM technology allows for one-to-many matches at blazing speeds using a fraction of the power of other systems, providing a low-cost embedded engine that can be used for virtually any standalone locking system, encrypted flash drive, or multi-module system. Combined with ODI's Software Development Kit (SDK), complex applications can be developed in a very short time for fast time-to- market products.
Combined with ODI's proprietary ARM 7 Architecture, on-board user interface and choice of sensors, our modules offer a complete, low cost, self-contained fingerprint matching capability. The module has general purpose I/Os, sowithout adding any hardwareit is capable of interfacing directly with solenoid lock hardware. The module has interfaces for direct connection to our SDK or to our Trusted Device (TD) module. The TD allows for an encrypted unlock signal to be sent to the locking system, thereby eliminating tampering between the lock and the module. ODI also offers a turnkey solutions package for safes, door locks, briefcases and other devices.
Our turnkey systems include the locking mechanism, battery holders, fingerprint mounting bezels and all cabling needed to add the fingerprint system to an existing device with minimal effort and no knowledge of electronics engineering. Our locking systems come with complete FCC and CE certifications, so time-to-market is very short. Our modules can be ordered with a variety of sensors including: Fujitsu's Swipe (MBF310) or array (MBF200) sensors, or Atmel's Fingerchip® sensor. Additional sensors, including optical and other technology sensors, should be available soon. For details of these modules please download our Embedded Fingerprint Module datasheets.
ODI's development kit can be added to any of our modules for expanded functionality. The SDK supports external fingerprint databases and can be interfaced with other electronic devices like printers, computers or networks, if desired. Examples include: time and attendance and embedded and fingerprint card matching for controlled access. For details of the SDK please download our SDK datasheet.
